Forces affected enemies to attack the unit that applied it, overriding their normal target selection for a duration. It is a targeting override rather than a disable — a taunted enemy keeps attacking and casting, it simply cannot choose whom to hit. Frontline units use it to hold enemy damage on themselves instead of letting it through to the backline.
-
Adds a unit to the field — temporary or permanent. Covers ability summons (pets and minions like Mama Beak's Tiny Beaks, Zyra's plants, or the Spirit Walker Yorick leaves behind when he dies), trait-spawned minions and relics, resurrect/revive of fallen allies, and bench-to-field arrivals. Summon-buff augments and the Summoner trait scale these. Bench refers to expanding bench slots, not the act of summoning; clone refers to making an exact copy of an existing unit, not summoning a new entity.

Effect fires when the unit itself is killed, commonly on items that bank value during combat (see damage-storage) and discharge it as a final payload.
